Recording of a performance of sacred songs by the Badgett Sisters (Cleonia Graves, Connie Steadman, and Celester Sellars), African American gospel singers from near Yanceyville, Caswell County, N.C. Also included is an interview by Professor Glenn Hinson about the singers' family musical history and discussion by Professor Hinson about the sacred music tradition in the African American community.
